Elgin Community College Professor of Digital Technologies Heidi Eaton was recently named the recipient of the Illinois Association for Career and Technical Education (IACTE) Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year Award during the association’s 88th annual conference in February.

Former assistant state’s attorney Lark Cowart to discuss bullying, gender biases during March 22 event at ECC

Elgin Community College will host part four of its “Targets of Hate series: When Bullies Grow Up,” a conversation about how early behavior and gender biases later influence harassment, on Thursday, March 22. The event is free and open to the public, and will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Spartan Auditorium, Room G100 of 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.
